“ Nice, cosy place in a corner on the second level of KinoKuniya with a nice open view of the bookstore and city view outside, making it a perfect brunch spot. Place is quite crowded, you might have to wait a little for a seat but it is worth it ! Staff were attentive and friendly, and helped us bring the tables together as we were a group of three. Was pleasantly surprised by the pesto chicken spaghetti, as the portion was great and the flavours were nice too, only wish there was more pine nut in it, but for the price it was very affordable for cafe restaurant tier food. My friend enjoyed the garlic prawn pasta, which came with already peeled prawns which was awesome, and the sauce was a very nice and flavourful kick! We ended our meal with a double chocolate muffin and a pistachio cake, which was very moist and we were satiated by the end of the meal. Was very nice that we can walk down to the book store and view some books after. ”

“ How delightful to stumble upon a café sequestered in the lofty perch of the nation’s finest bookshop, gazing out over the green sweep of the KLCC Park. The surprise deepens when you realise they take their food and drink with uncommon seriousness - confirmed by the lively hum of a full house on a Friday evening. To handle the crowd, tables are nudged close together; privacy sacrificed, community embraced. We lean toward the well-priced Merdeka special sets - Salmon Asam Pedas and Black Beef Rendang, each escorted by a chorus of scrumptious sides. When the plates arrive, it’s clear the kitchen relishes its artistry: garnishes scattered like confetti, petals and edible flowers lending a painter’s flourish. Here, the feast begins with the eyes before the appetite takes over. Looking better than it tasted, the Black Beef Rendang carried plenty of flavour but was far too tough - demanding slow, patient mastication. The Salmon Asam Pedas, on the other hand, came in swinging with a fiery punch that might have benefited from a touch more restraint. Beyond that, most of the sides landed neatly on point, handled with care and competence. The unassuming blue pea spritzer - laced with chia seeds and brightened by lime - proved the perfect antidote to temper the heat. And through it all, service stayed cheerfully buoyant, even at day’s end. ”

“ I enjoy having my lunch here (almost every day!). Every thing i tried on the menu is so far the best meal i’ve had in KLCC. I particularly appreciate that the meal is served hot, portion reflective of the price, attentive staff, clean area and just overall great atmosphere. I hope this cafe continues to thrive and maintain their quality as i will be coming again and again and also recommending others to try. Compliments to the chef and staff! ”

It’s a quiet spot, great for chatting with friends or just relaxing alone with a drink. The food was tasty and nicely presented. I tried a rice dish and it was flavorful and fresh. The coffee was good too, smooth and not too strong. Service was friendly and quite fast, even though the place was a bit busy when I visited. ”

“ Good place to meet with friends and go for a look around Kinokuniya after! Only tried the soup and it was good, but the portion was slightly small (bowl was shallow). Staff were awesome though! Very friendly when serving and energetic. Probably was the factor that made our experience so much better. Kudos!!! ”
